We're on Day 9 of the 30 Days of Deity Devotion for Frigg and the assignment is "Common mistakes about this deity." So my first thought is, "Well, that would be the Frigg-Freyja hypothesis, but I already covered that. Should I just skip today?" But almost the second I thought that, I realized a more perfect topic for today: The misappropriation of Frigg as a beauty goddess. A very specific beauty too: One that is soft and delicate, meek and polite, young and willowy (sometimes she is depicted with a pornstar body instead), and cute and pastel-coloured.

So it's THORSday again, and it's day 2 of the Thor's 30 Days of Deity Devotion: "How did you first become aware of this deity?"
We're on day 8 of the challenge with writing about Frigg, and the assignment is "variations on this deity (aspects, regional forms, etc.)" Which I think is the perfect time to dive into the Frigg-Freyja controversy (and other times Frigg is conflated with other gods).
Thor is the son of Odin and arguably the most popular of the Norse gods. It was his legendary hammer, Mjölnir, which became the symbol of Nordic paganism both historically and in the modern day...
For day 7 of the 30 Days of Deity Devotion, we're covering all the names, epithets, etc. regarding Frigg. This took a really long time to do for such a short post, not just because I've been immensely busy but because these were really hard to dig up.
